Why Outdoor Education?

According to OFSTED, outdoor education plays an important role in providing an excellent opportunityfor young people to engage in new, exciting and challenging physical and mental activities outside of the traditional learning environment provided in schools.

It is also aimed at teaching and encouraging young individuals to become more motivated and gain self confidence whilst learning the essential skills of teamwork, communiaction and leadership.

Here at Caistor Outdoor Pursuits we have positive, enthusiastic and highly motivated staff offering a wonderful team spirit, we encourage our visitors to be involved, so nobody misses out or is left on the side lines- teachers be prepared to strap on a harness and join in the fun. We focus on sportsmanship, positive communication and improved sociability for our groups.
